Getting Hygge with it!

I'm seeing all the snow day pictures from my friends and family in the south, and pining for that snow day feeling here in Northern California. There are things that I do not miss about the wintery weather, for sure: scraping the frost layer off the windshield, tires sliding on ice, frozen pipes, and a few other etceteras. But there really is no better feeling than waking up thinking you're heading into a typical day, looking out the window and seeing the trees, street and cars with a pillow top of fluffy white snow! Real life just gets cancelled. If you're all stocked up on hot chocolate, chili ingredients, art supplies and ok, sure a bit of wine and whiskey: it's pure bliss to hunker down and read fun books, nap and make things in between sledding runs. So cozy!
