swirls and patterns

Lately, I've been doing some client work that has long been a dream path of mine to wander down. I've been illustrating and designing in a baroque'ish deco'esque wave of swirls, curls and abstracted peacock feathers. Minimalism and spare design are wonderful realms for the mind and eye to rest, and they absolutely have their appropriate and necessary places. But, it sure is fun to kick up those heels and just let things swirl like mad, too! This is a snippet from a current project that is bringing the joy my way!
