well, today is amazing...

This morning when I woke up to find out that I had made it into the shortlisted 50 out of 999 talented, accomplished and flat out great entrants from 50 countries in the Lilla Rogers Global Talent Search competition...I was stunned. I've kind of remained in a state of stunned'ness alternating with flat out joy all day. No matter how the remainder of the competition shakes out, I am thrilled and so grateful to have made it this far. I really have no words for this feeling. The quote I chose for my piece comes from a Mary Oliver poem. It's also tattooed on the arm of Miss Erin - my daughter's wonderful kindergarten and now first grade teacher.
